Firpal is an illustrator and comic artist based in South London whose work composes of two and three dimensional digital scenescapes. Their cartoonist and comic style combines plush, chimeric fantasies with elaborate indofuturisms. Their visual style develops upon traditional Kalighat, Thangka and Mughal miniature painting, employing planarity techniques of flat drawings, cursive lines and gradients. They have released work with Frieze, Hugo BOSS, The Venice Biennale, the ICA, Skims & Everpress.
