BIRD I

Eamonn O’Boyle is an Irish artist and illustrator based in Amsterdam. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall and the proud father of a ten-year-old boy called Oskar. He is a graduate of the National College of Art & Design Ireland (NCAD) and has exhibited in Ireland, Hong Kong, Japan and the United States. His love of outsider art has been a major influence in his work, which is a mixture of analogue and digital; Sometimes figurative, more often abstract. He is highly skilled in cutting paper, collecting chestnuts and pretending to work while lying down. His first children’s book, ‘The Early Birds’ was published in 2022.
